Soy sauce enjoying idol, seeking connection through song 🤍🥢 A seasoned youtaite known for her versatile vocal range, shoyun became a kaigai idol to find her own voice. She hopes to discover and share a little joy, warmth, and flavor in every performance.

Falling in love with characters, voices, and music in animes I watched as a kid, I found space for self expression and discovery, through singing, voice impressions, and content creation. I love experimenting with vocal technique across genres, and my favorite music includes J-rock, J-idol, folk/fantasy, and acoustic. My passion projects are often OC centric or lore/thematically specific collabs. You may have heard my vocals or writing with EastNewSound, Idolusion!!, Hoshi O's, SACRAMENTVM, RWBY: Dust Queen, or Asayoru Maid Cafe.Equipment: home sound booth, Rode NT1A microphone, UR22C or SSL2+ interface.

In 2025, by some intersection of luck, an abandoned dream, and one decision to take a step outside my comfort zone, I debut as a kaigai idol at Anime Expo's inaugural Idol Summer Escape! I now perform as a solo artist, and as a member of LA/Seattle kaigai idol group himi♡chuu, which formed and debuted later that year. It's been a wild ride, but so much fun being a part of the community. From cozy, locally-owned cafes and ice cream shops, to previously unimaginable venues such as The Novo in Los Angeles and Club Asia in Japan, being able to perform more recently has been an honor and dream come true. One year in, I would say the reason I am on this journey is to learn to love myself better.
